Victoria Galloping Goose Regional Trail

The Galloping Goose Regional Trail is one of the places while staying at the Victoria Days Inn to see the spectacular scenery of Victoria’s forests and walk, bike, or even ride on horseback the trails. These are trails that are 55 kilometers for the hearty outdoors person that will take them from Victoria to Sooke.  There is also a gas powered passenger car for the person or family that wants to see all the nature and wildlife that Galloping Goose Regional Trail has to offer. The passenger car is able to carry 30 passengers and travels the route two times a day between Victoria and Sooke. This has been a route traveled since the  1920’s and is a part of the Trans Canadian Trail, which is a national multi use trail system that linked trails from coast to coast.

The trails of the Galloping Goose Regional Trail are easily accessible for visitors and there is the advantage of seeing the forests, the wildlife and being out in the fresh air on horseback, which is something that is not offered at all trails. This could be a very exciting way for the family to see Victoria’s forest trails, when staying at the Days Inn in Victoria.

This is something that can be walked, hiked or seen from the gas powered passenger cars year round and will offer new views every time it is traveled. The trees will change color, the sun will shine differently on the forest, the air will be different and the wildlife in their natural habitat will be different. Age does not make a difference with all of the spectacular views, along with nature at its best when on the trails at the Galloping Goose Regional Trail and it is just a short distance from the Victoria Days Inn.
